A painted arched gateway, adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows, leads to the bazaar. You can wander through the streets, where mansions of rich merchants are adorned with elaborate frescoes. Drive from Manvar to Luni (140 kms/3.5 hours) enroute visiting Jodhpur. Jodhpur � gateway to the desert beyond, home of the Rathors of Marwar. Visit the Fort, rising up a hilly scarp, built on the advice of a hermit, which overlooks the city in the image of a long sentinel. Inside the Fort are a number of palaces added by successive rulers. Latter drive on to Luni to check-in at Fort Chanwa. Overnight at the fort.

Drive from Luni to Deogarh (142 kms/4 hours). On arrival check-in at: Afternoon jeep safari in to the rugged countryside, nearby forest and lakes for the bird and nature lovers. Drive from Deoghar to Udaipur (135 kms/3 hours) enroute visiting Ranakpur. A visit to the famous Jain Temple, dating back to the 15th century. Its 29 halls are supported by 200 pillars, none of which are alike. The Temple abounds with intricate friezes and sculptures.
