Description
Rajasthan is a state in northern India. It is the largest Indian state by area and the seventh largest by population. Rajasthan is known for its historical hill forts & palaces, it is claimed as the best place for tourism-related to palaces. Umaid Bhawan Palace: It is the largest Royal Palace in Rajasthan. It is also one of the largest private residences in the world.
Arrive Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy an afternoon tour of Old Delhi visiting the Red Fort, Jamma Mosque, Rajghat and other historical landmarks. This evening enjoy a Sound & Light Show at the Red Fort (optional). Overnight.
After breakfast, enjoy a tour of New Delhi including Humayun Tomb and the Qutub Minar and drive past Government Buildings. Overnight.
Breakfast. Drive to Agra (204 km / 4 hrs). Arrive and transfer to your hotel. At 1400 hrs, enjoy a tour of Agra Fort and visit the Taj Mahal at sunset. Overnight.
This morning after breakfast depart for Jaipur by road (255 km / 5 hrs). En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the now deserted city built by Emperor Akbar. Arrive at Jaipur and check in at your hotel. This afternoon, visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and the Observatory. Overnight.
Early breakfast. Go on an early morning excursion to Amber Fort. Take an elephant ride on the ramparts. The afternoon is free for shopping or exploring Jaipur on your own. Tonight, enjoy a delicious Rajasthani dinner at Chowki Dhani, 16 km away (optional). Overnight.
After breakfast, leave by road for Delhi (259 km / 5 hrs). Arrive Delhi and proceed to airport/hotel.
