Start your day by enjoying the amazing views that the most important passageway between the principalities of Wallachia and Transylvania has to offer. Prahova Valley is the most important destination for mountaineers and for winter sports fan in Romania. Right afterwards, you will arrive at the last royal estate of the Romanian monarchy, Peles Castle. Built at the end of the 19th-century during more than 40 years of craftmanship, the castle represents a blend of neo-Renaissance and Gothic Revival architectural styles. Its interior has over 170 rooms decorated in different consecrated styles like Florentine, Turkish, Moorish, French and imperial, etc.
The next attraction of the tour will be the medieval Bran Castle, commonly known as 'Dracula's Castle.' There, you will have the chance to immerse yourself into the legend of Vlad the Impaler, the main character of the Bram Stoker novel. Afterwards we will have a nice lunch and make our way back to Bucharest.

This is a long tour, an almost all day one. The way winds among the hills inside Carpathian Arch crossing Transylvania from SE diagonal to NV. Short after getting out from the grate Bog??ii Forest, the imposing silhouette of Rupea Citadel appears, newly renovated and open to the touristic circuit. After visiting it we will go on our way to Sighisoara on the main road for a while to turn then to the left in Bunesti Village to the rural site, Viscri, on a rustic country road. Viscri Village is representative for Transylvania, being very well preserved and so the modern influences being unimportant. It is one of the Transylvanian villages where prince Charles of Wales has a house. The village and its surroundings can be admired from the fortified church tower (UNESCO patrimony). After Viscri the way goes directly to Sighisoara, the citadel-city (UNESCO patrimony) with buildings, walls and defend towers from the Medieval Age. We will visit the �upper town� with Clock Tower, the house where Vlad the Impaller was born, the Covered Stair, the Hill Church etc. On our way back we will stop at the Saschiz Fortified Church, preserved in very good conditions, a part of UNESCO patrimony too.

In the afternoon, we will take the medieval tracks in the Surroundings of Sibiu. The tour continues with Sibiel, a typical Romanian village: beside getting to know the costumes, we will visit also the Museum of icons painted on glass. Also it will lead us on the tracks of the Austrians and Romanians in Transylvania, communities that have lived together since the 18th century. This way, we will visit Cristian village, in the nearby of Sibiu, a village inhabited mostly by Landlers from Austria. The capital of storcks - the nickname of the village - will give us the opportunity to visit also its beautiful fortified church.
